PASSCODE RESET - Workspace One UEM

 

A Passcode Reset would be necessary when a user has forgotten their phone passcode and are no longer able to login to the phone.  In some cases, the phone may be temporarily locked because a maximum number of tries has been reached to enter the correct passcode.

 

  1. Login to WORKSPACE ONE UEM: https://cn927.awmdm.com/AirWatch/Login
  2. Select DEVICES from the Main Menu (left ribbon)
  3. Select ‘LIST VIEW’ from sub-menu
  4. Find and select the device in question by using the ‘Search List’ search bar in the upper right-hand corner
  5. Confirm correct device selection by confirming the information (phone number, etc.) in the ‘DEVICE INFO’ ribbon
  6. Select ‘MORE ACTIONS’ drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner
  7. Under the CLEAR PASSCODE menu section, select ‘DEVICE’
  8. Click ‘OK’ to continue
  9. You will be notified through a pop up window that the Passcode has been cleared.

 

Once the Passcode has been cleared, Users will be asked to set a new passcode by the phone.  Although they will have an option to ‘DO IT LATER’, instruct them to do reset their passcode immediately.
